The Communications Committee promotes the Association both internally and externally through eClipboard newsletters, member bulletins, and guidance on social media presence, ensuring consistency and professionalism in all communications.

The Discipline Committee is responsible for overseeing, investigating, and reviewing complaints filed against regulated members for misconduct under the Association’s professional Code of Conduct.

The Exam Sub-Committee conducts oral examinations with candidates and reviews exam questions to ensure relevance and alignment with current professional standards.

The Alberta Assessors' Association is governed by the Executive Committee, made up of Accredited Members elected by the membership to provide strategic direction, uphold the Association’s mandate, and ensure effective governance and accountability.

The Legislative and Policy Committee reviews and advises on legislation and policy matters that impact the profession, recommends updates, and ensures alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.

The Practice Review Committee evaluates and develops educational standards, assesses competence in professional practice, promotes continuing education, and advises on matters related to the practice of assessment.

The Registration Committee reviews applications for membership in accordance with Section 2 of the Regulation. This includes reviewing mandatory accreditation requirements.
